Markus is heading the treasury department of KfW since year 2014. He is responsible for the liquidity, fx and interest rate management of KfW group. In this role, he is also in charge of KfW’s derivatives and money market operations.

Before joining the financial markets team, he worked in management positions in the fields of promotional loans origination and securitization at KfW. He is with the institution since year 2000.
