Guillermo Colino
Head of Debt Capital Markets, Iberdrola
Guillermo has a degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Degree in Management Skills by Deusto Business School (2009) and an MBA by Comillas/Strathclyde Universities (2021).
He joined Iberdrola´s Finance and Treasury Team in 2010 and in 2015 he was appointed Head of Debt Capital Markets. He is also the Managing Director of Iberdrola´s financial entities through which Iberdrola issues bonds and commercial paper. Leading this role, he has gained a broad background in the issuance of several types of financial instruments, executing relevant transactions for the Holding and coordinating the execution of transactions globally in different markets and geographies.
Guillermo has been actively involved in Iberdrola´s Euro Commercial Paper Programme since 2011, managing both the Front and Back Office of the transactions, as well as its documentation process, which is updated every 3 years in order to get the renewal of the STEP label. Recently he has also been involved in the set up of a new commercial paper programme in the US, which management is in charge of together with the supervision of the existing US Programme at Avangrid, the subsidiary of Iberdrola in the US.
