Deputy Head of Unit, European Commission

Anna Grochowska is a Deputy Head of Unit at the European Commission, Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union.

Anna co-manages a team developing a regulatory framework for the integration and proper functioning of the EU’s securities markets, which encompass various financial instruments and market structures. The unit monitors the transposition, application and impact of the market abuse, prospectus, benchmark, markets in financial instruments and short-selling legal framework as well as related market developments. It cooperates closely with relevant national authorities, ESMA, IOSCO as well as accession and third countries.
