Agnes Le Thiec is Deputy Head of Unit in the Securities Markets unit of DG FISMA – the European Commission’s department responsible for EU policy on financial services – since September 2024.

Prior to that, she was Deputy Head of the unit in charge of the Capital Markets Union initiative. Before joining DG FISMA in 2015, Agnès Le Thiec notably worked as economist in DG ECFIN and corporate banker in the United States. She studied business and finance in France and the US.
