Rui Correia

CEO, ACI FMA

Rui Correia is currently Chief Executive Officer for ACI FMA, having the global responsibility to manage the Association from January 2025 onwards.

With his focus on the ACI FMA’s core values (the ongoing support of its network, the promotion of best market practices and ethical conduct, and the provision of globally acknowledged educational tools that set benchmarks within the industry), Rui regular engages with the 61 Associations currently affiliated to ACI FMA and is actively developing/supporting relevant initiatives with the Association’s partners (such as EMMI) that add consistent value to the industry, as he believes the strength of the ACI FMA network is the provision of benefits to their members.

Rui spent the first 25 years of his career working in dealing rooms, having had roles in trading, structuring and sales in internationally recognised financial institutions, in London, Madrid and Lisbon. From 2014 onwards, Rui became a Certified Trainer in financial markets and a Master in Finance, working primarily on the delivery of MiFID II related training to several market participants in Iberia.
