Christine Mahamba

Independent Expert, STEP Market Committee member

Christine Mahamba is a senior financial markets professional with over 25 years of experience in money markets, short-term funding and client-driven financial market activities. She spent most of her career at BRED Banque Populaire, part of the BPCE Group, where she progressed internally to Director level within the Trading Room, with responsibilities spanning trading, sales, client relationships and money market development.

Her teams’ performance was repeatedly recognized internationally through CMD Awards League Tables, reflecting sustained excellence in the European money market, strong execution and trusted client relationships.

Now working independently, Christine Mahamba remains actively engaged in the financial markets ecosystem through ACI France and the STEP Market Committee, where she serves as a Board Member. She also mentors young women in finance.
